Shadowbook is the story of Alexandra "Nyx" Wilson, a jaded foster kid who wants to become a Shadow, a nocturnal being that lives according to its darkest impulses. In the process, she meets Astor, a striking and mysterious Shadow that gives her an opportunity to start a new life in his dark fairy-tale world... assuming she can trust him.

Praise for Shadowbook
[Sarah is] a very talented writer, one of my favorite authors on [Quotev], who has inspired me to keep writing with her works. Seriously, her stories are well written and captivating. Her story, Shadowbook, displays the Jungian Shadow Archetype in all her characters, making it one of the few well-developed Shadow stories I've seen. And trust me on this, I've been reading online stories for a good 12 years now."

This is one of the greatest stories I've ever read. I DIED when I read chapter 17. Of laughter, of course. [...] like honestly, this needs to be published. I swear.

"Dispensing with the usual roundabout, this might well be the best post I have ever read from you, and it's actually causing a serious reevaluation of the way I perceive some of the works I've seen/read. This was a thoroughly enjoyable and insightful read."
